Where is QUARTERPAST based?

We are proudly crafted and based in New Zealand, and shipped directly from our New Zealand warehouse.

Where does the name “QUARTERPAST” come from?

QUARTERPAST was designed on the adage “¼ past the hour is time to take a break, sit down and relax” which is why our logo looks like a CUP being viewed from above, where the cup arm is pointing to the number “3” on the clock, representing ¼ of an hour.

Our customer care team is based in New Zealand and operate Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm NZT.

How long does it take for my order to arrive and how can I track my order?

Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email notification which will include your tracking number and a link to our shipping partner’s website.

New Zealand:

Delivery to major cities within the North Island is typically next day from when your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

For the South Island and rural areas please allow 2 - 3 business days from when your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

You will receive an email with a link to track the status of your order with our delivery partner: Aramex.

Australia Delivery:

Please allow 7 - 10 business days from when your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

You will receive an email with a link to track the status of your order with our delivery partners: NZ/Austrlia Post.

USA Delivery:

Please allow 10 - 15 business days from when your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

You will receive an email with a link to track the status of your order with our delivery partner: DHL.

Please note volume has increased in the courier networks due to COVID-19, and our delivery partners have implemented additional processes to keep their staff and community safe – this may result in additional time for your order to arrive.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to Australia, New Zealand, United States and the United Kingdom.

My order has failed but bank shows "Payment Taken."

When your order has failed it will NOT take money out of your account and instead it will block the payment. This normally happens because our payment system has found something wrong with your card or bank.

When this happens, you may see a line on your bank statement that says “PENDING PAYMENT FROM QUARTERPAST.” This means your bank is yet to understand that our system has blocked your payment.

This will clear from your bank statement within 1-2 business days, please allow this time for it to clear. Please rest assure no money will be taken from your account, as our system has blocked your payment from going through.

Please try making the purchase using a different card.

If for some other reason this has not cleared, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve this.

How to use QUARTERPAST?

All of our products are designed to be diluted with a 9:1 ratio.

This means: fill 10% of your cup/mug/glass with QUARTERPAST, top the remaining 90% with liquid (water, milk, coffee), stir to combine and enjoy!

What is the shelf life on your products?

Best Before Dates:

Best before date will vary upon receipt of order.

We endeavour to not send any products with a best before date of less than two months’ from the date it is dispatched from our warehouse. NOTE: This excludes clearance promotions. Shorter best before dates will be highlighted in the promotion’s T&Cs, which can be found on our Terms of Service page.

Total Shelf Life From Date of Manufacture:

Hot Chocolates: 12 months
Tea Infusions: 12 months
Iced Coffee Concentrate: 12 months
Coffee Syrups: 18 months
Chai Concentrate: 18 months
Mixers: 12 months
Milkshakes: 12 months

Do I need to refrigerate my products after opening?

No, you don’t. Just make sure you keep the products in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight.

Where can I find your nutritional panels?

All of our nutritional panels can be found on the page of the specific product you’re looking for.

Simply click on the nutrition information button and the nutritional panel will appear as a pop-up on your screen.

Can I recycle my bottles?

At QUARTERPAST we are fully committed to the environment and are always looking for better ways to make a difference.
Our bottles and caps are 100% recyclable. All you need to do is remove the labels and rinse the bottles.

Why sugar?

Our products are made using natural cane sugar, which is the best form of natural preservative and a better way to taste food when compared to artificial sweeteners. Because our products are super concentrated, you only need a small amount diluted into liquid (9:1 ratio) which means less sugar per serve.

Why do you use preservatives in your products?

At QUARTERPAST, we are all about flavour, taste, and quality.

Our products are made by cold brewing simple, honest ingredients to deliver true flavour. 

We use minimal preservative to make sure our products are shelf stable so you can experience delicious flavours and high quality every time.

Why do I see colour variations on your tea infusions?

Our tea infusions are made using real fruit sourced all year round which may cause some variation in colour due to seasonality.

Are your products vegan friendly?

Although we don’t have any official certifications, most of our range can be considered vegan-friendly.

Do your products contain gluten?

Although we have not tested our products, we can confirm we do not use ingredients containing gluten in any of our facilities, nor are we aware of any cross-contamination at suppliers’ facilities.

Are your products halal?

Please contact our team via our contact form or send an email to us at orders@quarterpast.com to get clarification on which products are halal or non-halal.

Is there any sugar-free options?

Not at this stage, but we never say “never.”

Do you offer caffeine-free options?

Yes, we do indeed.

All of our tea infusions, hot chocolates, mixers, milkshakes and chai are naturally free from caffeine.

In addition, we also have a delicious decaf iced coffee concentrate which is identical in flavour to our caffeinated version! It’s delicious and we worked tirelessly to get it perfect! Make sure you check it out 🙂

Yes, we are in supermakets across New Zealand and Australia.

Range availability will vary depending on your location.
